Kommetjie Self Catering Accommodation
Nestled in the sleepy fishing village of Kommetjie, perfectly situated on Cape Town’s peninsula for easy access to wine farms, nature reserves and endless beaches, Blu Zen self-catering guest house accommodates up to eight people in four double bedrooms with style, comfort and security.
Combining character and style with comfort and security, Blu Zen Self Catering guest-house in Kommetjie, is the perfect choice for those visiting Cape Town’s peninsula.
Blu Zen is nestled in the sleepy hamlet of Kommetjie. It is a perfect retreat from a hectic world and ideally located to explore the magical world of Cape Town’s Deep South. Kommetjie boasts Just Foods, a superb deli and wine shop, a convenience grocery, two pubs and several small restaurants as well as a post office with Internet access, chemist and beauty salon.
The three-star self-catering house is located 250meters from the world famous surfing beach, Long Beach. The eight km beach is a safe and beautiful place for you and your family to explore rock pools, sight whales and dolphins, visit the tallest cast iron lighthouse open to the public or simply lie down with a great book. We’re pleased to supply beach towels, beach chairs, cooler box and umbrella so that you may enjoy relaxing days on the beach (or maybe just try some of those world class waves yourself).
Invite your family and friends to stay with you at Blu Zen. With two en-suite double rooms, plus two more double bedrooms sharing a bathroom, it can sleep up to eight people. The Siemens equipped kitchen will be ideal for those who love to cook with it’s volcanic rock griller (and even those that don’t with a microwave). The property is walled with an electric fence, gate and garage to ensure absolute privacy. The patio is tailored for al fresco eating so you can relax in the shaded area while you braai and enjoy the Jacuzzi and outdoor shower. For nights in, we have DSTV and a pool table and a collection of books and magazines.
Blu Zen. An idyllic respite for when your soul
and body are aching for time out with family and friends. An ideal base from
which to stroll around the myriad of wine farms, challenge yourself to world
class hiking trails or simply explore the enchanting beaches and countryside
of Cape Town’s Deep South.
